Max Crus from the Daily Examiner has reviewed a few of our boutique Australian wines in his column, Grape Expectations. Max Crus got his hands on bottles of our Topper’s Mountain New England Gewürztraminer 2016 and Topper’s Mountain New England Bricolage Rouge 2014. He had some good things to say about both wines!

Topper’s Mountain Gewürztraminer 2016, $35

“This is as good a rendition of Gewürztraminer as you’ll get, if you like gewurz’ that is. why wouldn’t you? 9.2/10” – Max Crus

Topper’s Mountain Bricolage Rouge 2014, $30

Our 2014 Bricolage Rouge is a blend of Tempranillo, Nebbiolo, Tannat and Viognier making it savoury, balanced and elegant on the palate with flavours of forest strawberries, cassis, ripe raspberries & a touch of toast and chocolate.

“You won’t find this mix everyday, indeed you may not find it every year. They just go with the flow each vintage and pick whatever they feel like for the mix. Bit like TGBRF. Wouldn’t you love wither job? 8.9/10”  – Max Crus
